What’s in a fear?

It occurs to me now that maybe those were our weaknesses that brought us together in times of fear. Your fears and mine they came from different origins. They have their own characters and they play different roles in our lives. Our weaknesses; they’ve come with a certain arrogance; they’ve come to alarm us of something bigger than their own. Those times, we couldn’t have let go of one fear till we’ve replaced it with a new one. Maneuvered and disdained, as those fears lost their values, we’ve lost some meanings and gained new ones. It’s not as good as it used to be, yet it will never be as bad. The circle continues as long as there’s breath in our lungs. Once we have reached the bottom, there is nowhere to go but up.
